Keith and Lori Carey – In Entebbe, Uganda
We developed this site to update you about our lives, to encourage believer’s and share the love of Christ with all who drop by.
Lori and I are preparing to serve full time on the mission field April 8th 2016 in Browning Montana. We will serve by sharing the love of Christ to the Blackfeet Indians. We are so blessed to be a part of the work of Christ in our own back yard.
We are currently living in Portland Oregon where Keith is a railroad employee and owns a small business. Lori is currently working alongside her husband and helping with the day to day operations of the business as well as preparing our family for the life change planned as we leave Portland, Oregon and prepare for life on the reservation.
“So, why would you give up great jobs and retirement to travel to and live as in country missionaries?”
We are so glad you asked… Answer ~ The Gospel. The simple answer is that God calls all of us who are Christians to make disciples. We are going to Browning to share the Love of God with those we encounter. For some, it is right here at home. In their neighborhood, at the grocery store, or even across state lines. But for others is it overseas to places like Cambodia, Africa, and the like. When we say ‘yes’ to Christ, we become His. As Paul says in Romans 1:1… “He is a servant of Christ.” As a servant of Christ we are called to live for Christ alone. The things of this world are temporary and our heart is to strive for eternal things. We believe God will care for us and our needs as we serve him faithfully. We believe God has called us there to share His love with the Native American people.
We are so thankful for those who have come along side us by offering their prayers and financial support. If the Lord leads, please consider a one-time financial donation or a monthly recurring donation to this amazing work. Visit our “Donate” Page for more information.
