1Chron 16:23-25 Sing to the LORD, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day. (24) Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! (25) For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and he is to be feared above all gods.

As we wind down for the weekend from a wonderful Christmas holiday, I can’t help but sit in awe and wonder of our God. Though there are still many challenges that this life brings, we are thankful for the God who holds all things together by His mighty right hand.

Sing to the LORD all the earth!

Though there are seasons in which the plans and ways of God may seem hidden, we still rejoice in knowing we serve a God that is worthy of our worship. The LORD is great and greatly to be praised.

This year has been a real blessing for me and Lori in so may areas. One we discussed this afternoon together was the growth in our faith and reliance on Christ alone. We read through some old prayer journals and looked at the things we asked the Lord to give us the strength to get through. And as a testimony to His goodness, we made it through them. It is so exciting to see how He brings all things together even when our own uncertainty overwhelms us. And more often than not, we come out the other side thriving spiritually and excited about continuing forward in all He has for us.

Tell of his salvation from day to day.

Lord, thank you for the gift of salvation. You are so faithful to your promises. Help me today to trust in you, have faith in your Word, and proclaim your goodness day after day. Amen…
