Deuteronomy 6:5-7 ESV You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (6) And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. (7) You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

How often do we think about God throughout the day? Usually when we need something from Him. “Help me in this oh, Lord!” This verse reminds me to keep the words of the Lord on my heart, mind, and soul every moment of the day. In addition to them being a vital part of my life, I am to teach them to my children as I lie down to sleep, wake in the morning, and throughout every moment in the day. The Lord is in constant watch over me and calls me to remember Him in all I do throughout the day.

Prayer: Lord, help me to include you in all things today. Not just when I think I need you, but always. I love you and want your direction today. Help me to be faithful in spreading your word as a light to the world as I go about my day. Amen
