Titus 2:7-8
7 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us
Whenever I read these verses in Titus I can’t help but think about what the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy; “do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth”…
How we present ourselves is of the utmost importance when it comes to our walk with God and our witness to others. Paul was an amazing teacher and mentor to the young men and women of his day and his message rings true to us even today.
Be a model of good works, teach with dignity and integrity, and speak in a wholesome manner.
Oh how our culture has drifted so far from the ways of God. The enemy has blinded their eyes and minds to the teachings of Christ and his amazing Love. May you be an example of God’s light in a dark a dreary land.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to walk today in a way that is wIorthy of the calling you have set before me. May I bring glory to your name in all I do and say. Amen!
