Rom 12:4-5 ESV For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, (5) so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Christianity is not a “me and God” sort of thing, there are no Christian anatomists. As believers, we are connected to each other just as the members of our physical bodies are connected. Though we do not have the same function, we are all dependent on one another. Today I am reminded that my role is important in the body of Christ and that no matter where I am, I am a part of a greater body.
Lord, I thank you that you can use me even if I feel like my part is insignificant in the body of Christ. I am reminded that I am a part of your body and I am grateful for that. Please help me today to discover what you would have for me and what role I can play to serve others. Amen
